    Default More progress

More progress and a bit of a story. I've adjusted my lighting to suit my need of shadows while sculpting, I have two lights and move them around as needed. story: For years now I've known I can sculpt in clay, I'm not the greatest but pretty good for not learning how to at a school. I always procrastinated when it came to working on projects. Tonight while working in Super Sculpey I figured out why I procrastinated so much, all the time. It's the time it takes to sculpt in clay. It's frustrating seeing something in my head but having to wait to see it realized. The time it takes to apply the clay to the armature, knead it into place with my fingers, then work it and form it to my liking with a tool, that's too much time. While the idea is in my head I start to change it and sometimes I stare, because I'm not fast enough to try different ideas (it would probably take hours). In Zbrush minutes are seconds and what could be hours, minutes. Changes can be made with a few strokes, clicks or sliding of buttons, hiding of layers and subtools. You can even save each change or with a few clicks have them all on your canvas/document for comparison. Zbrush is the tool I've wanted all my life..sounds corny but it's true, I had to share it. Thank you Pixologic. Wish I was almost twenty instead of forty. How long before 3d printers can be bought at your local superstore? lol

    Default ZBrush is awesome

Here is The Huich with some Polypaint. I was playing around with painting and painting materials. I noticed there are some weird patterns that occur when painting onto a Dynamesh. This paint concept is not final, I'm still working on the sculpt.

    Default More than video games

I wanted to play some BF3 after my last post but ended up staying in ZBrush. Here is a multiview render. Now I will play a few rounds before sleep. Work (job) ant 9:30,

    Default Still a W.I.P.

The Huich. She's still a Work in progress. I want to paint her and her staff but first I must work on my painting skills. The character sheet render is just me playing around with different materials.
