    Default GrizzlyJake's Monster Alphabet

Last year i challenged myself to do a monster a day...but fell short. This year I am doing the alphabet rendered out...SO once i finish i will do a final render of all and put them together. I would consider these unfinsihed right now because i try to spend 1-2 hours on them but i know i want to go back when I am done and rework them all...things I know I need to change or finsh. SO...this will be my entry when i am done. ALL are created in Zbrush only using alphas for the initial creation of the letters.

AND please tell me if this is OK to put into the challenge since i started it on Oct 1? Is that starting it before the contest and i really shouldnt be submitting it?

Great concept man! It says on the main thread you can post completed images or WIP's so you're good to go. Can't wait to see the rest of it!

    Default R2

Thanks guys, here is what i have so far. R2 and Dynamesh are DEFINETLY helping me get these done quicker for sure. Taking a basic sketch and modelling out what I envisioned. I wish I had a little time to jump into the new rendering settings with the lightcap and HDRI backgrounds and I may for the final. But I have had so much fun on all of these so far. I got a couple of challenging letters coming up.

These are superb! If your entry doesn't win the competition there is something fundamentally wrong with the world

Can't wait to see the full alphabet!

    Default So kewl!

I really love these. I can't wait to see what more creations you make for each letter! Suggestion. I would use the toy plastic (or a reflect image on shader) for the eyes to make them look more like wet eyes in your final render.

    Keep up the killer work!
