Default Comicon Challenge 2011 entry Captain America + Wonder Woman = America's Wonder Girl!

This is my entry for the Comicon Challenge this year. The theme was to do a opposite gender superhero or different time period. I knew i wanted to do a take on Captain America, so female version but to spice it up, I decided I would do the daughter of Captain America and Wonder Woman.

    Hi Sarakawa,
Nice job, everything looks nice and clean. I like your presentation too. I do feel though like the gloss on some of her skin is a little tight. I like how rich and saturated the colors are though.

Looks great, this deserves a high res render.

What types of problems do you encounter? Is there anything specifically you would like to know?

@Mr Guy: Basically I just get confused with all the settings. I've tried a few tutorials and it seems to work well if i follow the instructions and use meshes that apply to the tutorial. As soon as I use my own meshes and textures, I have problems. I also can't get normal maps to work i don't think. I just want to do some simple renders of game res characters so it shouldn't be that hard.

I decided to do a turnaround render in marmoset.

I've gotten this question a couple times about the scales. I actually did the old fashion way of just making a very simple single scale alpha and placing each one. Of course I had mirror on so I only had to do one leg and half the chest. In retrospect, I probably should have UVed my basemeshes and just created a tiling alpha to just tile over the whole areas but it didn't occur to me at the time. Still, it really didn't take that long and I was happy with the results!
