    Default ZBrush 4R2 Beta Testing By: Bryan Wynia

    Hey Everyone, here are a few images I created while beta testing ZBrush 4R2. Both of these creatures were created using the new Dynamesh feature. I was able to start from a simple sphere and quickly establish form and shape to block out the sculpture. This new feature really allowed me to just think about the design and anatomy. I did not have to worry about the topology or other technical issues. I think people are gonna really enjoy the freedom of working with Dynamesh. I also briefly explored the new wax preview and lightcap fuctions. Creating dynamic lighting for a character is incredibly easy now. Thanks to Pixologic and all the other testers for another great experience!

    Here are some videos of how I used Dynamesh to block out the characters.




    Here is a Lunch Crunch from earlier this week. The theme currently is Zelda, so here's my take on a Moblin. You can check out more Lunch Crunches here...

    I love it man you are awesome. Congrats on these sculpts. I want R2 soo bad. I want to play with Dynamesh like no other!

    Thank everyone. I think everyone one is going to really enjoy the new version and all the cool new toys.

    Mikademius- I will post high res images on my blog soon. I'm doing color versions of each image during my free time right now.

    Woooow, I have been working as a lead sculptor for over 8 years, and have just recently decided to leap in tho the digital sculpting world ....and zbrush was already very exiting, but this dynamesh looks awesome...and the new rendering futures.....aaaa can't wait
