    Default MeMania's Sketchbook

Hey everybody, it's been awhile, but I thought I'd start a sketchbook. All of this is hobby for me so it won't be updated regularly, but I'd thought I'd start one anyway. Maybe it will help me to produce more, who knows... Here is a WIP I've got going on. It's the Good Magician Humfrey from Piers Anthony's Xanth novels. Any suggestions would be great as I'm still toying with him!

Another test from a better angle. Eventually I'm going to have him poring over a tome by candle light, so this is kind of a lighting test also... Still, any critiques would be great!

Alright, pretty sure I'm done with the shader and the lighting setup is pretty close.

Alright, sculpting and skin shader is finished. I just need to make a few tweaks to the textures, but that will be easy... All pics straight out of Max Render viewport window. Next, his clothes, which will be difficult for me... :/

Alright, I'm giving myself a break from humfrey to recharge my creative batteries. But here's a Rogue sculpt I did a while back. Based off of Adam Hughes' drawing.
