Default just a little breakdown of ghoulio...

    ghoulio-breakdown.jpg

    just a small follow up,...

I started out with the basemesh that I downloaded from Pointpusher; credits for whomever made it or mad it available!

brushes of choice are several move brushes for blocking out basic form, claytubes and smooth for roughing out the details, and damian standard, pinch and formsoft; combined with several standard alphas for the finer detailing.

partyhat is a basic cone primitive, the string and shirt are done with mask extraction, the stitches are done with a chain of Zspheres.

polypainted on the skinshader 04 matcap.

crits are welcome; and I could use some help setting up some sort of basic lighting and render settings.

    thanks

    Dave

@sparky3d: there actually is à little candle on The cake, there is a small molten red candle, with à glowing pit and a puff of smoke, as if it just went out, but its kind of hard to distinguish it from the grime in the background

    @ Dman3d & madhead; thanks

This is the first time I produced a final composition, usually just made a
Single sculpt and maybe some polypaint...

    Default New project

this morning I decided to start a new sculpt; as many here I thought I would give it a go at some hardsurface mech like sculpting

started with a sketch for the undercarriage:

    mech001.jpg

I figure I should first build up the volume and posture as a sloppy sketch and then use that as a placeholder for the seperate parts as subtools, wich should be sharp and clean...
any suggestions and input are welcom

so the mechsculpt didnt work out; my basemesh was a mess and by the time I had anything half decent going my system shutdown... lost all progress... by the time I had everything up and running again I decided to leave it fdor now.

so I loaded the wellknown bust basemesh and did this character:

    kokkie.jpg

    and here is the timelapse:

still a WIP, see if I can give this guy some arms...
