Hey all! Ive been following this community of superb artists for a while now, the talent and inspiration is unreal! Default The Tramp

I dusted and old sculpt off and thought I'd use it to practice rendering in Zbrush. A quick and clean base mesh was knocked up in Maya before being whipped into the land of Z. Theres a lot of room for improvement in the sculpt (especially around the neck area) but it was good to practice rendering and compositing in photoshop. I created matcaps in Photoshop to help bring out the details and mimic lighting in places.

    Default Poseidon

Poseidon_.jpg The base mesh for poseidon was made in Maya with a mixture of Maya and Zspheres to make the horse. I went for a simple fleshy blue look, probably influenced by Avatar

    Default Jericho

I wanted to have a bash at something organic with hard surface parts so I ended making this guy. I hope to decimate him sometime soon and get him textured and rendered.

In the meantime I used render passes in zbrush and paintovers in Photoshop to create the second image. I think my angle of perspective could have been better as his arm looks to short to scratch his butt!

This thread is full of awesome. Me too likes The Tramp the best, it's not that the other works arent great, but "The Tramp" is something you dont see sculpted all the time.

    Default Bowshers

A model created in Maya and transferred to zbrush for details and rendering. I used multiple Matcaps to composite and paint over in photoshop. I think by luck I managed to get a pretty funky final image...Good ol Zbrush!Bowshers.jpg
