Wow, long time since I've posted any work. Life has gotten in the way and I haven't had as much time as I'd like to for practicing my Zbrushing .

Hope everybody has been well! Anyway, here is a new WIP from me. ~3ish hours of work so far. It's a little generic and boring so far, but it has a long ways to go still so hopefully it'll fall into place when I get some more time. Thanks for looking! C&C is always appreciated.

Phew, remind me not to leave so long between posts here. My thread is a wasteland these days . Anyway, here is my attempt at a nice clay render. C&C appreciated.

Okay last one of this guy before I try some texturing on the thing. Hope you guys like it. I'm still trying to learn this whole rendering thing, but I'm bad at it and it's nowhere near as fun as sculpting!

    All the best,

Looking good! One thing you miiiight want to do (although it may be too much hassle) is redo the lapel on his suit/jacket thing by using an extract as a subtool, so it's just just sculpted out from the mesh. This will let you really pull it out and have nice crisp edges since at the moment you can notice the faceting. Unless that's the sculpted look you're going for which would also make sense.

    Keep it up!

Absolutely love it - the second off last render doesn't look like it was spat out of vray - looks like maya or vray... anyway super cool

    Shiver me timbers... ;-)

Have been way too busy to post lately, but pretty soon I'll have some fun big updates . Until then, here's a quick new render of my gal:

Hey hey guys, haven't had much time to post as I just finished an amazing workshop with Bryan Wynia, but here is some new work from me

My take on the Yeti legend. I gave it worn eagle feathers to represent battered age and wisdom, while the horns and strong gorilla face represent power. Done from start to finish in Zbrush, with render pass compositing in Photoshop. Hope you guys dig it! Always open to C&C.

I like this piece. I do feel that the fur looks a bit like feathers in the chest area. Nice lighting on the horns too.

@kaisasose thank you the feather feeling of the fur was actually intentional, to get the feeling of an eagle and represent battered age and some wisdom. hopefully it came through that way.

@earthtriber thanks kindly, i'm glad it came off epic!

@spiritdreamer hiya Glenn, nice to hear from you! thanks for the kind words. hope all is well with your work too

@lazynoob thank you! your creature is cuter though . i was looking through your blog at your awesome work. you're an AAU student also?!

@triplej96 thanks triplej! i appreciate it

    @dragonCG thanks dragon!

@digitalsmithy ahh thanks man, that's really good to hear! means i'm on the right track with getting better with my character designs.

Man, I really cannot be happier with Zbrush! It's nice having a workflow that is intuitive to me that revolves completely around ZBrush. No BS, just sculpting .
