    Default Ren's Sketchbook

Hey all I'm excited to show some of my work and I would love any tips, suggestions or critique on anything.
Here's a Werewolf I made ... the base mesh was done using zspheres.
After some initial sculpting and retoplolgy I unwraped the basemesh in Maya.
I hope to add some fur to this character but I want to make sure I have the form and anatomy correct .... this is where the zbrush community comes in ... I'm looking forward to some constructive feedback. Thanks !!!!

    Here is the Zsphere Basemesh
    Zsphere Basemesh.jpg

After retopology and a lot of tweaking, creating the teeth, gums, eyeballs and unwraping in Maya I began detailing in Zbrush.

Alright, so while I'm testing out hair and fur on the Werewolf I decided to start on another character.

    PYRAMID HEAD !!!!!!

This is still in its initial stages, there are only 4 subtools and none over 4 or 5 sub divisions, still have a long way to go on the robe and flesh wounds and other gory ideas in my twisted little mind... lol.

    As always C & C's are appreciated.

    Special thanks to VENOM !!!!!
This would be the first time I was sculpting cloth and Venom the awesome guy that he is decided to help out !!!!!

    Default The Man-Bat

    WARNING : NUDITY

    Hey all,

I originally wanted to sculpt Batman, but I wanted my own twist on it... I was thinking Bruce Wayne with Peter Parker origins or for those who don't speak geek, what if Bruce were bitten by a radioactive bat !!! ...

I had this idea locked up and stored away as I was working on the Werewolf and Pyramid Head. During this time I was catching up on some comic book reading and came across "Blackest Night- Superman/Batman #66" and as it turns out there was already a Man-Bat aka Dr. Robert Kirkland "Kirk" Langstrom.

... so I took a look at character and right off the bat (no pun intended) I wanted to re-vamp him, because his wing structure in the comic books and other media only extend to his waist which was nice because he could get to wear his cool office pants, but not so much if the character is supposed to fly like an actual bat . So, I got rid of the clothes and got to work, I do intend to add some items which might not be totally obliterated during the man to Man-Bat transformation, like a tie, ID around the neck, a sock, etc.

Im experimenting with rendering so if anyone knows anything please help me out... as always C&C's would be appreciated !!!

    Mature Audiences

    Hey all,

Here I used Scott Spencer's technique to paint the character, I wanted to give it a more White-giant bat feel .... Please Comment and Let me know your views and opinions. Thank you !!!

Also it's been mentioned that the Bat Genitalia is unwanted/offensive ... I would love to hear what the Zbrush community thinks about this. (Seriously) !!!

    Thanks.

    Default Hi nice work

    nice texturing u did buddy
I think u have show the genitals a lil too big . so when someone new sees ur bat firstly he wud be drawn to the genitals ..which i think is not a good thing . seeing ur Bat i think u gave the ***** too much importance ...or maybe if u wud hav made the ***** a lil small n NOT ERECT then it wud been much better hehe
    OVERALL its a great sculpt
