    Default Best Sculpting App Ever!!!

Sculpting in Sculptris is much a joy. To be able to create something out of literally nothing (Okay, a sphere at least is so liberating. Thank you Pixologic!

I am a professional lurker, but Sculptris finally lured me out. Here is a current wip.

This is my first image post so cross your fingers.

Default attaching an image w/ post

If someone can tell me how to attach my image directly to my text instead of a thumbnail/ link, I would appreciate it.

    Beautiful.
    No, I mean, excellent sculpting.
You probably used some helper app too, or I'm wrong. But who cares. Waiting for more beauties.

belbe: Thank you. You too can get these results if not better. Just keep practicing. Never retreat never surrender

    Tartan: Thanks.

aurick: You're the man! Many thanks.

michalis: Glad you like it. All the sculpting except the metal wire piece was done in Sculptris. I'm still trying to figure out what to do with his hair.

    Ghostman: Thank you.

JoseConseco: All Sculptris. No retopo yet. All from a sphere. Except for the metal wire piece that connects his suspenders. I could of probably made that in Sculptris too, but I got lazy. Made a quick base mesh in XSI and imported it. I'll post a snapshot of my process in a bit.

Here is a snapshot of the progression of this dwarf character so far. Start with a sphere.......

    Default New Sketch

Another fun sketch. Sculpted and render passes in Sculptris. Quick comp in PS.

The arms and feet need some love, but I might come back to this later.

Love the dwarf. Stuff looks great.

These are pretty cool tran. I like the wip- nice musculature on the arms. I haven't been posting for awhile either- but I still do the random sketch. I do post at Eric's cgGoodness site- you should check that out too since some of your students might post there (Eric, jason, and some of my students still use the site). I also reccomend if you haven't visited it yet Danny William's Lunch Crunch website- some kick ass ZB sketching there. Keep up the great work.
