Some very nice details, it's a real shame that that horrid cartoony paintery style is ruining all of the hard work that went into it.
That style of texture just makes everything look flat.

Well hopefully game companies will come to their senses, and stop trying to make stuff look like WoW, to appeal to an addicted audience.

i love that cartooned illustrated painterly finish in the scenes with the trees, leaves and grass, are the trees, leaves, grass created in zbrush?

and what about the sky and lighting on the scene is this painted in photoshop?

    love that comic book feel,

Your work is interesting throughout. I especially like the variety of stones and rocks. Great graphics all. Thank you for sharing so much of your techniques including the Vimeo lesson showing how to make custom brushes and also how to make the brush icons. Your explanations are very clear and please know that your English is very clear as well. Thank you!

Orb - this is some of the best stylized game art I've seen in awhile.
I would love to see you technique for the wood - were all the groves painted 1-by-one by hand or did you use an alpha or? And I'd also be in-debted to see the process behind cretaing the arid cliffs...I tried to create some cliffs in ZBrush a few months back and they just looked like mushy chewing gum.

Thanks for the brush video and overall inspiration.
