    Why "obviously" ? There actually is a technique to do it using PS
    Maybe, lot more technics exist in Ps. Some are simpler and better. Lot of possible processes, many ways to skin a cut.
    Everything starts from an interesting render. If there isn't, nothing can save you.
    Among the most interesting methods is to overlay a noisy texture. This, sometimes may create a global illumination effect.

    @nicksc
    Please, avoid this copper like default shader. I had a lot of trouble with it in the past. It won't work well with new zb releases, you can clearly see the problem on shadow casting.

    Try my 2 nodes shaders, edit them as you like. Or, Julian K's three nodes ones. You have to set environment shades for every node but it's more friendlier to zbr4r2 or r2b.

    @nicksc Thanks for offering to help. After doing some searching I more understanding of how this works. For anyone who is looking for the same info, there is a short tutorial on how to do it with amazing results. I didn't try creating my own material, but
    tried michalis matcap.

    Default To Adamx...

    Zbrush and Sculptris work differently as far as color. In Zbrush you are applying the color to the model's geometry, In Sculptris you apply the color to the models UV texture which is a flat image. Much of the same results can be achieved in both, but going about it is completely different. For Sculptris I'd try building a Material that has some of the color, then go into Paint mode and paint the model the rest of the color ..........

    Yes, Very nice effect Nicksc .....

    Lion door knocker rendering. I will added a wood texture that I embossed as my background. Not a bpr render.

    Yes, it is. I haven't find my standard way or style of doing eyes yet. I tend to improvise each time.

    Great job with the door knocker, are you thinking of ever print it or it's just a 3d modeling project?

    I would like to wax print it so I can cast it in bronze, using the Lost wax cast process

    About the dog did you use any reference? That's a nice little snout btw, I wouldn't mess with it.

    Girl looks sweet. About dog, it could use more wrinkles and eye cavity seems bit big. I prefer your traditional art overall.
