In my opinion, I think that the added bit of volume to the cheeks rounded out the face a bit and certainly gave her that younger look compared to the previous version. As far as the hair, with some texture and finally rendered, I don't think anyone would even notice the few "Sculptris edges".

I was wondering what the reason was behind the added puffiness on the right cheek?

she was born with a birth defect or she might of fell and hit here cheek or maybe got stung by a bee. I am really trying to get away from perfection in my sculpts and embrace asymmetry. Symmetry is wonderful, but not all the time. I've been studying features that are more asymmetrical ( like this little girl ) and think that as I practice asymmetry on my sculpts, I will develop the ability to flow more in my work and break the barriers that bind my artist expression.

Very nice indeed ! She reminds me very much of a girl from a painting made by a Swedish painter. If I find it I will post it.

    Anyway, great work!

Sculptris is amazing. I hope they are working on a new alpha version. I don't think I can do much more with it. The truth is, If I want to expand my art work, I will need something like Zbrush.

    Default Excellent

Wow, Excellent work here! Love the balance of the girl standing on one foot.
To answer your question on hair sculpting, I find it useful to use the Crease brush. I hold Alt with a fairly big brush to create the high ridge then let go of alt to create a valley next to the first line. I then trace back over it with the pinch brush and get a nice crisp line. Hope that makes sense.

    Another good one!
Have you tried to activate smooth normals on BPR?
But these are the preview, not BPR.
