Amazing work, and I really enjoy the story behind it
Good luck

Thx so much guys, I'm very happy that you like it! (and the story too
)
So here is the steps for this work
First I did a fast sculpt with the Zspheres, with that I had the global shape I wanted of the body, I did the legs like that only because I needed the dimention of them, I knew that I won't us that basemesh for the legs
I did the head with a simple sphere for the beginning

With that I started the scult of the upper body without the legs and refined the head a little
After that I focused on the head, I wanted a "felin humanoid" (yes Ilove cosmocats!) "skin armored" character, this is why he's like that
Then I did the sort of Blades in his arms, I did the basemesh in maya and sculpt in zbrush of course
I did the same thing for the legs and the chains, I wanted to make it more stylised than realistic, this is why I didn't do to many details

so here is the final result of my sculpt
and here are the low mesh and low mesh with normal map and occlusion!
and finally the pedestal scult and the lowmesh with normal map, diffuse map, and specular map

Hope you enjoyed my post and thx a lot for the comments (now I have to wait for the result
)

I think a lot of the folks on your "Inspiration Board" should be very flattered. Excellent work.

What soft do you use to create texture?
-
I used Photoshop as a lot of poeple I think
-
Have you tried to work textures with MudBox ? (Sorry to post it on ZBrush Central) . But it's just awesome, it's really easy to make a nice hand painted texture with this tool. I used it for my DMV Entry, it was really cool.
Anyway, as i already said few week ago in the comp ! Your Work is really cool!
Congrat's and good luck for finals !

Hi Deathperado!
First I'm so sad that you aren't in the final beacause I loved your work so much, you were one of my favourite entry, it's so bad
For the question, I've tried mudbox one time only and I didn't like the "touch" of it (don't know if you understand), I feel too much that I move polygons in this soft, I didn't go further because of that, you painted on the low mesh? or you had your high mesh in mudbox?
Thx a lot for your words!
