Posting my zbrush stuff here at ZBC. I got 3rd place in the Brawl Competition at Polycount.com making Mike Haggar.

These are just about all Work In Progress Images I had on tap. I'll post updates of final stuff later.

I've started up-resing Haggar and his stuff for high res renders for my site.

Amazing job. Very full of details. I had to revisit the images back and forth.

How did you model the rope? How long it took you to finish this awesome model?

Lots of Tom Selleck reference . And many others too. Ventura obviously, but thats a bit predictable. Haggar ref.

I especially used Don Frye though! Tons of reference of him.



The rope is a displacement. Draw spline, set up to generate UVs. Make the length of the edges similar. Then map it to a BW map thats like //////// that. Set a turbo smooth to like 4divs at render time. Project this stuff to the final low poly. Or you can just do like a whatever.... Height to Normal. Whatever works... Anyways the Rope is tiled... both for hp and final.
