Default OSX GoZ from Sculptris not sending to ZBrush

I've set up all the GoZ prefs in ZBrush to see Sculptris but for the life of me after several reinstalls of GOZ and Sculptris following the procedure I cannot get Sculptris to send to ZBrush? Currently I feel positively bloodied , beaten and seeking a shoulder to cry on.

Any tips of why I may still be having issues greatly received.

Many thanks and if you have a sympathetic shoulder may I cry on it?

    Further info:
"If Sculptris determines that the GoZ required GoZ files have not been
installed you will receive an error popup" . I'm not receiving any such error message just no communication.

I don't think you would have to attempt to reinstall Sculptris to sort that out.
If you've installed the GoZ update properly it should work.

Some firewalls have application blocking etc. Disconnect from the net, and disable your firewall ... if GoZ starts working you know what the problem is....

Read installation notes txt inside sculptris goz folder.
You can fix this manually, here

On a Mac the "!:" this is normal, so it's not that.
After some investigation, i see that goz from sculptris exports a .goz file to root directory of my system drive. ie
    MacHD/sculptris_mesh.goz

I suspect that this is a path error in sculptris as there seams to be no preferences to set this.

Where does it export this file to (sculptris_mesh.goz) on a windows box ?
I think knowing this may help get to the bottom of this.

Install GoZ manually, here have a look. So many people had the same problem, though installation instructions exist in sculptris / goz folder.

    @justadeletedguy
drive letters exist in windows only, never in unix based systems.
One great disadvantage of win systems, coming from dos, trying to keep compatibility. A terrible problem, especially when using external drives. You have always to edit these letters so to keep some paths alive.

In all other OSs drives are volumes and have a unique number.
