nope...
I don't know what I'm doing but I'm doing it anyway.
Thank you MealeaYing.
Details are difficult for me. In most cases they kill the whole composition. There's a technical problem around. I believe it's the rendering. A detailed model looks so different under a few renderers. A global illumination engine is the best but after a test... I have to come back, fix issues and most of all, I have to guess.
But, digital sculpting is a fine opportunity for me to sketch and study the masters.
Really like that verdegris effect on the rhino reminds me of ancient chinese metal working.....very cool

@blueferret
Thanks, I like these chinese bronze statuettes a lot. Some interesting rhinos.
But bronze masterpieces in athens archeological museum are superior to anything else around.
Try to sketch these legs for instance. Just try. See the shape of the space between these legs. Real, glorious sculpting. A 30 cm bronze statuette.

thanks
It is zbrush BPR, using a shader but not a sculptris like ball projected normal to camera or similar. It follows lighting. Noise is painted in zbrush.
Notice how the [shift+drag, release shift as you drag] hidden smooth tool of zb works on subdivided tri meshes. All these may become history in a few days after zb4r2 release. We'll see about this. I still love to work on dynamically tessellated meshes.
Just testing the new ZBC.
I find it commercial and boring. The worst is the uploader (similar to blenderartists.org)
The picture we see in the post is 750 px wide. Then scrolling or ask for full view.
I'm complaining because ZBC discards color profiles! terrible for an artistic site. Correct profile can be seen in full view only. What a mess. Shame on pixo.
As a test, just click to see the full image viewer and watch colors.
Anyway,
Had a lot of fun with a friend of mine, he started doodling and I continued on this, a horse like hybrid doodle came. Then I demonstrated GoZ, remeshing there and BPR + SSS shader.

Looks Good Michalis. I am finding myself more attached to the chinese dog though. Looks very real. Like I could reach out and pick it up![]()
They say time is the fire in which we burn. Quick! Someone get a fire extinguisher!
thanks tartan, I prefer the dog too, funny doodle.
Please do me a favor, when clicking on the last horsy one, does it look the same? It shouldn't. We have a major issue with new site. Notice the sharpening effect that automatically added as well.
Hmm my eyes arent as good as they used to be but yes there does look like a sharpening effect. I am assuming when you click the popup it takes you to original version

I am seeing that too, the popup window contains a resized image, clicking on that opens another window/tab with what I am assuming is the actual image.... fun fun fun... three windows for one image.
I like both of those by the way and just out of curiosity I would love to see the horse one in that same green as the dog.
Cheers!
