After seeing this I really would want your version of clayface in the new game.

    Hi BUSNISMANPATRIOT:
I am not from Santa Monica Studio. I don't know what their brush setting was. But if you turn up Mouse Avg and Roll Dist in the Stroke menu, you can greatly alleviate those ugly spacings.
While waiting for their correct answer, I hope this helps.

A lot of what is causing that spacing problem is the speed of your stroke. The faster you make the stroke the larger the spacing is and thus it creates that spacing issue you are having. Try slowing down your stroke and see if that helps.

I originally misread your post and answered regarding the "Clay Buildup" brush when you were in fact asking about "Clay Tubes". I'm sorry. Here's the correct info:

You can adjust the behavior of the Clay Tube brush simply by turning on Stroke>Lazy Mouse and reducing the step size to something like 0.1 -- hope that helps!

    Hey guys,

In response to the claytubes brush, it depends on the artist. Personally I use the clay brush and claybuild up brush while sculpting.

If you look at arshlevon's Clayface though you can see this texture and I think it's great. I would not be afraid of this texture, I would just find what version of the clay brush works best for you.

Thanks for checking out our work!
