It's a tough call, though I think I like the skin on the red one better. I like that the scales are not uniform in size and shape. Any hints on your technique for that?

Hmmm, I like them both for different reasons. I can't decide if I like one better than the other although, I'm leaning towards the second one, I really like the first one too. They both are terrific!

Very good work on both... I like the smoke and the red scaley mat on the top one and the overall imagery and expression of the second one! Good job!
