    Post Griffin

    Hi all,

I'm in the middle of making griffin.
(I called his head 'Dragon' but I decided to make him as griffin)

    I've almost finished modeling.
I think I'd like to give him terrible claws.
If someone know good one for him, please tell me.

Next, I'm going to texture each part.
    Also background.

    Any suggestion and advice welcome.
    (Suggestion about English too
Now I don't know how to use 'LOL'(maybe Laugh out loud). I can find a lot of 'LOL' this forum)

    Thanks

    kaz-g

I don't understand the part of the throat, the position is good, the rocks look a bit to identical, and I am not sure of the fog effect, it looks like it's an underwater point of view.
    Carry on

Nice start. Am I right in assuming the throat thing is part of the mane? I am anxious to see how this turns out.

A very cool start! The dragon head does suit a griffin very well. That was a clever idea, changing tracks like that.

For the claws, another approach that you can make good ones very easily with is the Ring3D tool. In its Initialize menu, give it coverage of less than 360 and set the Scale value to 0. Then change the SRadius to whatever looks good.

This same approach can be used for horns, fangs, etc.

Nice update kaz-g, i like the form of the body, very natural looking, the glossines of the materials could be taken down a notch or two, this looks like a piece that could become really somthing special.

Thank you for many coments as usual.

Junk: I was not aware. It looks underwater view as you said. Maybe I need more detailed background. I 'll try to modify it. Thanks for your advice.

Mentat7: It is just a part of the head part. But making as mane is exactly good idea. I'll do first. Your doctor's claws is awesome! I'll follow it to make griffin's one. (Thanks ZuZu for pointing at it. )

wenna: I'll try to use 'LOL' soon! LOL

aurick: Useful explanation! Thanks much. I'll try this soon.

hitch2: I'll change materials a bit in the texturing stage.

    Thanks.

    Thanks for your reply, Mik

    My hands are very slow.
I can update just a little for a day.

But anyhow, I think I'll finish this before World Cup starts.
So, I have to concentrate to watch the games.

    Thanks.
