    Post Zbrush and four hours

Well I'll be back to my old nick after this post.

I spent four hours modelling....I am constantly surprised by the speed Zbrush allows me to create with....here is a selection of 20 odd out of 30 odd tools created in that time span mentioned. Not one tool has any 2d work involved with it. All tools are built in default settings or under...only one sphere used per tool.

4 hours, now that's depressing ~G~ It would take me 4 years... or decades maybe to do half of them.

    Very talented.

This is very nice work Ed despite the short amount of time put into it I think I recognize a few faces in the crowd...Bush, Nixon, Jesus, Nimoy... I admire your technique. Would there be any chance of you recording a script or two to show how you go about developing the mesh around the eyes and lips? I know I could use some help in that area. Great work! And I like the way you refer to your "heads" as tools..probably how they should be refered to when you think about it.

4 hours....4 hours??? Good Grief! Those are terrific and only in 4 hours...It would take me 4 milenia to get half of those and the quality would never match them. I just spent over 10 hours on one head and it's just a plain ol head...nothing with the character your characters display! Great stuff!

    As an instructional aid...
I'm glad you put them up because in your collage with all the heads at different angles it helps us aspiring modelers (well me anyway) by being able to see where things fall. in relation to other things, depth and so on...

For someone who is grateful if his head models look more animal than vegetable, to say I am impressed by what you can achieve in 4 hours is a gross understatement! It must be wonderful to be so fluent.

Let me just echo RoBo in saying how glad I am that you're back here!

(And you should do scripts, you bad boy!)

I wonder if you need a new battery for your watch... All those great heads in just four hours.
