Rubik’s cubes seem to have had a resergence in popularity recently, mostly from puzzle enthusiasts. I’ve always been a big fan of these types of puzzles. I have a Rubik’s 2x2x2, a standard 3x3x3 Rubik’s cube and a Rubik’s UFO.

Frenchy, you want a headache? Try this, Four-Dimensional Rubik’s Cube

Hi,
for me, the best cube puzzle is SOMA invented by Piet Hein during a lesson of Heisemberg on quantum mechanic…
Maybe i’ll make a tutorial with Z on SOMA cube.

cameyo

Hi Cameyo
Yes I remember your advice about Soma !
Here is the best link about Soma !
Incredible numbers of figures showing ! A must
And very interesting texts about some subjects, booklets, history, theories, proofs, newsletters, algorithm, design, form, …
Have fun!
Pilou
Ps Is there a figure that you never find in Soma ?
Pss The site of Piet Hein (1905 1996) The rational idealist
His watchword : Co existence or no existence

;)

"Soma Cube Solver"program and other free Puzzle Games
(Very handy but it’s a Solver : you can’t move the original pieces! Just Cube to Cubes)
For the original “Soma” you must load “Cubix 3D” who is in the same link

:ex:Carreful :ex: Possible addiction On line
Try the Tile Puzzle
All is On Line and time wasted
