    Default Energise´s Sketchbook (mini-tut pge 5 & 6)

    Hi guys!

Thought I´d follow so many others and create my own sketchbook here! =)

I´ll kick it of with my very first Zbrush sculpt ever! :P

Man, it´s really hard to get into the ZB flow when you´ve spent so much time in mudbox haha!

This guy is far from done, but it would be great to get some feedback on him before i start with the details

I´ll add my progress on this guy and all others to come in this thread from now on.

    Cheers /Jonas

Hey Jonas, nice to see your first real Zbrush model made with your brandnew own Zbrush license. How does it feel? You`re already addicted, huh?
I can`t give you some good and useful critique because I don`t know much about anatomy but IMO it`s looking really great so far. The ear needs more work but I`m sure you already know that. Yep, yep, I know it`a WIP.
    Happy Zbrushing!

Looking very good. The ear lobe may need some sculpt work but it sure is a good start!

The next sculpt will be done using reference!
This guy was done using no references, just by trying different brushes etc.

Hey! About the bump texture, all quads in the layout should be (about) the same size So there's a couple of ways about it: you can manually do it as you said, and also in Zbrush there's an option to make some parts of the uv layout denser, so maybe that's an easier way to go about it.

    Btw I love your work

    CONGRATS!!!!
It`s so great to see this on top-row. You deserve it!
Thanks for posting the ZBrush screenies. I love the x-plode pic.
Unfortunately it never works when I try it.. I guess my PC is not strong enough.
Regarding vacation, I`ll be in Italy and in Serbia.. so no
snowboarding this time. But I`ll go hiking and horse riding.. hopefully no broken-bone-souvenir this year, hehe.
Actually it might be safer for me to stay at home BUT when I tell you a little story.. you`ll see that I`m not even safe at home.
A while ago I disassembled our espresso machine, cleaned it put all the parts back together. Well, that´s what I thought but I forgot
    one small gasket/joint ring.
After the work was done I wanted drink an espresso. So far, so good.
I filled in the water and espresso powder and waited with my cup right beside the espresso machine.
Only a few seconds later the machine exploded... and the whole kitchen (me included ) was full of hot espresso powder and water.

    No more questions, huh?
