... looks like my place here (but only concerning the BAD weather )!!

Can only get better (both picwise and for the weather).

Hi zerebrom very nice sceneˇˇ The background is actually the weather where you live? The mountains too? If yes, is a relaxing placeˇˇˇ

    Hiya,

Real nice pic. Is the top step's texture a little sharper than the rest?

It looks like a great illustration for a sci-fi book cover.

Andrč: the weather, atm it is just exactly like on this pic: rain, rain, rain and.....rain!!! Those hills and the landscape are from Vue, but very similar to those where I live.
Hybrid of: Truespace for the "shrine", ZBrush for the head inside the shrine and some work on the native (altered Poser), and last not least Vue for landscape, texturing, rendering.

Trent: no, it's the same texture for those two steps. I put a spot over the group, and did it carelessly: there should have been some shadows pointing towards the camera. Sharp eye!!

I like to do pics that invites you to tell at least a very short story (how this small native went up to the shrine, bad weather and all, donated some herbs (or whatever), did his worshipping - just to stop the common ritual to really examine the shrine for the first time, getting in closer contact to the local "god" for the first time... etc). If I can get things like that "rolling" when someone visits - my pleasure!
    Thank you!
