    Default Zombie concept development

Hey guys, I just wanted to share some image from the development of a Zombie character I started on my twitch channel. I used the Subtool Masker plugin to achieve the 'gross factor' in the face and it worked like a charm! really awesome tool. Hope you guys like it:

Was great to watch this take shape from start to (almost) finish Pablo !

This final render looks great ! (You'll have to explain the long stringy hairs on your next stream (please)

    Looking forward to learning more

    Thanks for sharing Pablo !

It's not often I find myself admiring a man's pustules but I make an exception with this fine render

    Default Quick Queston

@blueferret - Thanks mate! glad you liked it.

Hey guys, after sharing the Pug-Particle workflow miniseries, I've got lots o questions about how I take a ZBrush sculpt to a 'portfolio piece'. It is very encouraging for me to see these type of responses and I'm really glad to see that you have found some value in the tutorials I share.

I have put together a one-question survey about this topic and to find out what exactly you guys would like to know. Check out the survey on the ZBGs clicking on the image below. I'd love to get your input:

    Default Uncle Fester

    Hey guys Happy new year!

To kick-start this 2019 here is a new personal project: Uncle Fester.

It is my version of Uncle Fester from Adam's Family but based on Larry Fine from the Three Stooges... I grew up watching these two shows and I always thought that Larry would have been a good cast for Uncle fester haha

All done in ZBrush, textures in Substance Painter and rendered with Arnold in Maya. you can see more screenshots and images on my ArtStation page here.

This screenshot below is from Toolbag 3, which I used for look dev, testing normal maps and try different lighting scenarios.

and here is a quick timelapse working on the expression:

    Hope you guys like it!

    Cheers.

Larry Fine makes a great Fester. What a sweet idea wonderfully brought to life
Any plans for further look-a-like swaps?

Btw - loved that little black outside line trick (flipping normals with flat color fill) you demonstrated on your recent ZBrush Stream.
Was wondering what that might be like using it with uv textures too.

Any way thought you did amazingly well to be that hot and keep presenting a stream.

Bless you Sir for going over time on your last broadcast to explain the feather curve brush technique with repeating uv's.
    Much appreciated
