Mind Flayer - Dungeons and Dragons Fan Art

Hey guys,

I am a moderator at cghub.com. alot of you may know it.

Our last challenge was to create some Dungeons and Dragons Fan Art.

I decided to do up one from an old 1980's adventure called Expedition to the Barrier Peaks. It was the first adventure that combined fantasy and sci-fi.

Modeled base mesh in Softimage. Sculpted, Matcaps, posing and Render in Zbrush with a quick comp in photoshop.

It still needs work, I plan to model in the rest of the figures in the original image to match it better.
