different forms? "could be wrong term used"
Hi, I'm about as new as you can get to this. I just downloaded this last night and think it's prety cool. Anyway in my playing around with it for a bit I have a question. Is there any other forms you can use instead of a ball? I was thinking of like lines where you can create an image of a steel beam. I know, I really do have to sit down and read the manual and see wat it says. Thanks for your answers and also the questions.

Looks for the Tools palette and see the different "forms" (aka Tools) that are available. Click on the large one for even more tools.
Welcome to ZBrushCentral Doug.
The 3D primitives currently in ZBrush are:
All of these shapes can be modified with either the modifiers sub-palette, which includes basic initial values, masking, and deformers, or it can be edited with the Transform/Edit Object mode. (You'll find this in the Transform Palette.) This allows you to sculpt the 3D Primitives, pushing or pulling their surfaces. Happy ZBrushing!
