Not much time for Sculptris but I managed to mangle out this guy today.

The upper part was made in Sculptris entirely but I quickly ran out of polys so I took it into Z and had chance to use Dynamesh for the first time. It's brillant as new possibilities suddenly opened up and I didn't have to worry as much about limitations. I still enjoy the continuity of Sculptris' "dynameshing". Lots of work to be done still on this one.

Here's my newest sculpt. I made a decent amount of my artefacts in Sculptris but since the introduction of dynamesh I maybe moving to Z permanently.

Doesn't matter which tool you are using - you art is very unique with great atmosphere.
Always a pleasure to pass by and look what you have done.

Thanks very much and I agree using other tools doesn't make anything easier - considering one has to go through the hassle of learning them first and developing one's own workflows. No tool is perfect (nor paintbrush) but it's still interesting to see a drawing or a painting made effectively with the use of a single tool (however obsolete) and some of the the greatest paintings were made in such a way - realism wasn't their objective, but essence of an object/s.

I like some of the Sculptris-only sculpts I can find here on this forum and they're brilliant.

I cannot push beyond 6 mil polys in Z - perhaps that's why I need Sculptris - since it can cut through topology.

One of my Sculptris creations taken to Z with few details added. Look up previous renders.

Yeah - last one I like very much.
Yes join us - would be pretty nice to see something like a maciej style "elephant C-3PO" santa.

These are lovely renders, I must say. Particular the front.
    Maybe too much plain front?
At the back, there is the work I know, but the front part has something special.

Keep it coming - your work is a drug.

Here's some more of Little Friar. Looks like he made friends. Reworked cloth also. It's painful trying to predict how it would fold. All elements Sculptris except the arbor, ZBPRenders

    edit: reworked arbor, pedestal, robins

"My preciousss fishhh, isn't it, my treasssure?"

Just prolific. First model ever with Sculptris or the very first ever in 3d?

Yes indeed - the fish - and thanks Serek. One of first ever inside of Sculptris (stinker's bust was I think 2nd). On initial renders I overdid bump mapping though and wasn't sure about lighting. My first ever 3d model had 2 million polys and looked like a melted piece of wax and I was soooo proud I thought I'm going to explode. My GPU did though.
