Congrats on that top row, dude. Well deserved. I only wish I could play that game your characters were for. Games industry is ass some times.

Awesome work but quick question when I try using that technique the mesh created always seems to collapse in on itself in the middle so it goes from looking like a cylinder to something like and hour glass any ideas

    thanks nightwoodwolf!
and Hector! thanks a bunch, dude . I'm lucky I was able to show anything from our canceled projects, but I wonder how much great art is made in the game industry that never even sees the light of day

FND1234: thanks! I'm not totally sure why you'd get an hourglass shape from curveSurface, but be sure that you're drawing the curve from the same side both times - start-end of curve #1 connects to start-end of curve #2. If you're still getting issues, you might just have slightly too different of curvature on one curve vs the other. Try making it slightly more similar to the initial curve and see if it works any better.

Realistic stuff isn't really my jam, but I do think I miss out on a lot by not at least doing studies. So as a child of the 80s, I thought I'd try my hand at sculpting Nicolas Cage's Face... Off... lol

    hope it looks like him!
    any crits welcome

I also uploaded some brushes and my UI to my site if anyone thinks theyd have any use for them

hey thanks so much, Lou! Hopefully anything I share can be helpful to anyone

I figured I'd post some stuff from a little cyberpunky game project I've had kicking around for a while with a friend. I'm sure it'll never be more than an art project haha, but hopefully I can at least get enough together for a look into the universe i had in mind

sorry for making a billion posts in a row XD

I did a sorta halloween-ish sculpt timelapse and figured I'd toss it up for anyone interested. It's probably a bit early, but I didn't want to miss it again this year haha, so hope everyone has a cool Halloween!

    timelapse:

    Hi all!
I figured I'd post some stuff up here for a workshop I took with the amazing Adam Skutt
I decided to try my hand at more realistic characters by doing a sorta silly realistic interpretation of what Ash Ketchum might look like once he became a grizzled pokemon master.
I learned heaps, but never got around to doing the sillier things. Hopefully it looks okay on its own and I can come back to it if i ever have time

    anyway, hope you dig it!

hey ya'll, just posting up a timelapse i did recently!
The subject was meant to be the negative thoughts we struggle with internally. Hopefully it comes across okay
