I love the polypainting you're doing here.

Creepy bugger, great work, good luck![]()
Glad Ur-Asxaasal is coming across well, Frank! I've had a number of people tell me they'd love to have him in a game as a final boss to battle! Too cool! LOL
Thanks for the compliments, Arthaven and Dman3d!
Here's Ur-Asxaasal completely polypainted. I'll still be touching up and maybe even redoing small parts for blending but, for now, it works....
I'm going to move to polypainting the base for Ur-Asxaasal and then come back to put the finishing touches on my 'god'.

Looking great man. Loving the form of the creature. How big is he meant to be in a real word scale?

It hold wonders, joy, and magical bliss !!!!! O_O
Thanks very much, Ajdin! He's been alot of fun to do for this competition!
He's almost 50 feet, when he stands straight up with his head tentacles at their greatest reach (right now, his legs are bent so that drops him down in size)....
I didn't want his scale to be SO large as to be colossal...I wanted him just big enough to make a person say "holy crap!" as Ur-Asxaasal tears at them but small enough that, if one had the right weapon, a person could take Ur-Asxaasal on in a fight.
Here's my entry, Ur-Asxaasal,from an in-game viewer. Still have to tweak the textures for final touches and create a good spec map.

Actually had a diorama/base that I wasn't initially going to use for my "god" as I wanted the plain look to the present base to contrast with the details of my figure.
But, I think I'm going to keep this as the new base for Ur-Asxaasal.
Here's how my entry is shaping up. Don't have the final textures done yet (am finalizing details) and am just using default lighting but it gives an idea of how Ur-Asxaasal is looking.

Have gone through a few iterations on the base between my last post and now. I think the geometry is a done deal at this point....

I am not scared of no monsters, because they are not real, but if this bugger was real, I would really be scared of that, that is very unhuman and looks like it will have me for a snack.
Love the amalgamated design, and the colors used. Excellect. Would love to see and animated of that.
I love this thread, great work!..good luck in the contest!![]()
Thanks, Inkyspot and Natawat_Obbi!
I've had alot of fun with this 'god' and have had many people tell me they'd love to see it in a videogame boss battle , so that's pretty cool!
This isn't final yet...or I should say, the lighting isn't final yet..will post more as I get the lights just the right way.....
I think I'll add in drool and other effects and do realistic rendering via Mental Ray rendering for high end shots though....
screwed up creature !!!! hahhaahha ... loved it !
really nice job !! those eyes are sweet !
Thanks very much for the compliment, Sanketpro3d! He's a twisted god and I'm glad it comes across!
