I AM Number 4

Hey all, it's been a while since I posted any thing new, so I thought I would post something I did for "I am number 4"

These creatures were called the Piken, they were described as "Space Rapters" by Steven Spielberg,(producer) which I took literally at first and then worked my way to the flying squirrel look

.
They were designed in 3D using Zbrush without any 2D development, just a little photoshop sweetening and then turned over to ILM to be finalized and animated.

I have not seen the film but, I have heard that the final look remained fairly true to the design, that's cool with me!
