    Default Hybrid Infant for V

    ZBCThumb1.jpg

    Hey ZBC

Been busy updating my site, cutting a new demo reel, and adding to my portfolio. I thought you guys might want to see some close-up shots of the Hybrid Alien Infant I did for ABC's Sci-Fi drama V.

It didn't get much love on the show since that is their style, but since the season is over I figured I would let you guys get a close up view.

Cool! I didn't know there was a remake - saw the originals back in '83.
How was this developed further ?(was it digitally integrated into the show?) was ZBrush used for more stuff on the show ?
    Thanks for posting

Good job on that! Can't fault the show on its effects, they're great.

Too bad the story is so poor (and the acting). Looks like ratings-wise it's headed for cancellation.

    Superb sculpting work!

Hey Guys, thanks for the comments. Glad you guys like it.

Etcher - I never saw the original either, it was a mini-series, but this show is seasonal and just wrapped up it's second season.

Most of the show is between humans and the aliens in their human skin, so there aren't a lot of the aliens being shown. They use prosthetics ffor little things but they have used Zbrush. I did this model and a model of the aliens tail that they used throughout this season.

Here's a screen grab of the tail in action

There was a full alien shown on the season finally, but I didn't have anything to do with it so I don't know how it was put together. Probably Zbrush though.
