Still WIP, felt like adding some color/materials and test a render out before I posed him... I like it for the most part. (Wear and scratches added in post with Photoshop.)
Now, on to the pose seriously this time!

I think I'm done with MagnetMan! Made a base, posed, and re-rendered; wear and scratches added post-render with Photoshop. Now to research 3D printing(if anyone has suggestions on websites or companies they've used before let me know!).

Here's a sculpt I did almost 2 years ago now, I think I can finally show them. He's the Inquisitor from the new Star Wars: Rebels show. You can buy this guy in a number of formats, but I believe this specific sculpt is used on the 3.75" line of Hasbro figures. I did enjoy working in this more stylized look for these figures, even if I'm not a big fan of the 5-point articulation, but I have to do what they ask! I'll have more renders coming soon.
Character is owned by Disney/Lucas and figure is owned by Hasbro.

Wow, loving the Inquisitor sculpt, keeping the stylised look of the show, but a little more detailed, captures the character perfectly! I hope I can reach the same level of skill one day!
Thanks! I'm sure you will, just gotta keep practicing!
Amazing work would love to be able to be this talented and creative, love the inquisitor and star wars
Thank you SloppyJostler... if that is your real name!

Here's a sculpt I did of Jabba's right-hand man Salacious Crumb. I believe this was for the Black Series Jabba the Hut that was sold at SDCC as a convention exclusive. Pretty cool to work on, I think I packed quite a bit of detail into him, for a figure that only measures 1.5" production scale. Also, as a side note, they took the elbow and wrist articulation out of the finished product, assuming to save costs. Anyways, enjoy! <3

hay Dan awesome stuff! Is there a special approach to articulating a figure? any tips would be appreciated.
Hey Brian I like to work in different parts to keep each molded piece a separate part. I insert spheres or cylinders depending on the articulation I'm going for and work off of that. Usually I'll keep a duplicate of the primitive object so I can use it as a boolean later if my sculpting goes outside of the range of motion area. It's not really an exact science though, it's something that you kind of learn with time and just from learning and figuring out how the articulation works in the first place. Hope that helps!

Started up a stylized Link for fun... Now he just needs hair and to not be completely naked.
