Very interesting proportions. I'm thinking about making stylized characters too, so images like this are very inspiring to me. Thanks!

Looks great! Is it Fibermesh? If so, what is a name of material used for the hair and what brushes were used for styling?

PS I really love your drawing of a young lady in your CGSociety page (also used in Vimeo profile image). But for some reason it doesn't allow me to save the image into my collection. Is there a place where I can grab it or it was made unavailable intentionally?

    Thank you.
Brushes for styling, I used all that is in the arsenal for it in ZBrush.
    Material Hair2.

There should be no problems with copying. I just tested all copied. Just in case post the here.

    Thank you Wonderful drawing!
I found a reason. I was unable to save it previously just because I'm using outdated browser (Opera FTW!). This happens from time to time unfortunately. Sure there are plenty ways to grab an image from site, but I thought that if straight download was disabled for a reason, it would be wise to ask your permission first.

Epic! Never even heard about Houdini's hair system. How good it is? And how long it takes to render a simple frame (like in your previous post) and animation like this? I have an experience with Maya's and Blender's hair and they are both terribly slow to render. In Maya it is even recommended to render it separately and composite later.

    Thank you.
Rendering speed on my computer less than 1 minute per frame.
Hair system in Houdini I find excellent, but Houdini does not preset tools to manage hair. Therefore, for those new to Houdini it can be very difficult.

    Forgot to answer
One minute per frame? Wow, in my case the result was counting in hours. Though probably it's because I was doing very high-res images plus in your case I assume this is not the final quality, but rather a preview, right? Cause if look closer there is still some noise in hair.

And nice boot I remember doing similar shoes for my character. Too sad I abandoned the project.

You're absolutely right it but rather a preview. In the future I want to add details to the hair and the light will also be changed.
