    Default Machines of Adventure: Sketchbook

all right, here is the coming out ;-)

after all those year with Alias and sketching, I've decided to purchase and learn zBrush. I've seen number of convincing video, amazing artwork and all that made me interested in!

The UI is killing me, the philosophy of the software is so alien to me, but I do fight ;-)

The first piece I've made with zBrush is this giant artifact found frozen at Iceland.

I enjoy a number of things about this image; the scale-I like big things, the sky color in relationship to the artifact, the roughness of the artifact-eroded and aged instead of going all mech, and finally the fact that it is similar to a sketch I did years ago. The execution is brilliant and the effect is beautiful, well done.

Thank you guys for your kind words!
Despite my continuous struggle with zUI, there is a goal of finished piece by the end of the day.

So here is another one: Learning to sculpt icy landscapes, rocks and icebergs. Rendered with keyshot, altered and overpainted in PS.

Still keep learning the new stuff in ZB ... sculpting is definitely great, though still too many buttons for all the options.
But here we go ... the project ;-)

It is all built in ZB and rendered with Keyshot in following two images ...

All personnel at Gatta City is required to wear protective helmets. C-Beams can affect your conciseness! Do not approach too close to bosoniumm based machines! Stretch your arms against the discharge!
