    Default Eminem Blendshapes

    Hi everybody!
Just wanted to share some of Eminem's facial expressions which I had to create for the pepsi/brisk commercial which aired at the superbowl this year:

The commercial was shot as stop motion animation. Eminem's Head and all it's blendshapes were created in ZBrush first (base mesh: maya), and printed afterwards.
I hope you guys like it!

I loved it! The commercial was very good, and the facial design really caught my attention when I was watching the spot during the Superbowl. The expressions are great!

    Well done!

lol, that was YOU! Awesome! I didn't realize Zbrush was behind it. I knew it was possible though since Caroline was made with the same technique.
There's a part in the commercial where he grow an afro out of no where. what was that about? I was laughing at the sheer randomness of it.

You did a good job of capturing his perpetually pissed-off look.

    thanks for the comments guys!

Tyrone70: yeah, the afro was a "special" one . I had to smile too when I saw it first.

And yes, the whole idea to use ZBrush for the modeling process had been derived from Coraline. It's pretty helpfull to create this in CG. Changes to the face can be done much quicker. It also saves a lot of time when creating facial expressions.
