Very nice study! It's amazing to think of how these sculptures were done in stone. Equally fun to think of what the masters would've have done with a tool like zbrush. cheers.

I'm a big Waterhouse fan ,your work in capturing his diaphanous cloth is really good .
I'd love to see how you would approached a texture transparency on it .
so if you decide to do so , pleas post it .
    good work .

As a Mucha fan and his fantastic style, I tried to sculpt something of his for practice, all Zbrush and post in PS.

The concept is from the God of War III artbook, I thought it would be good to practice anatomy, all sculpted and rendered in Zbrush.

Wow... I love the cloth effect for the Veiled Virgin, and the anatomy for the God of War III piece is very good, except for the pinky on the left hand... it looks like it's extended down a bit too far, and looks like it's broken. Still good though.

*EDIT: Oh wait that's a thumb, I guess they're both right hands (from two different people?)

Tribute to Gian Lorenzo Bernini, one of my favorite sculptors, it´s been great for anatomy practice

Great study of Bernini's "The Rape of Proserpina", Bernini is one of my favourite sculptors too. How he rendered the softness of the flesh in marble is just incredible and you have replicated it beautifully.
