This is a personal project that I have been working on. The piece is created in ZBrush and rendered in Maya - Mental Ray. I made a few small adjustments in Photoshop and I combined my render layers such as my ambient occlusion and depth map.

The model is created in ZBrush and exported to Maya.
I took a picture of my hand, and imported it to Maya.
I used Image Based Lighting with a sky sphere to simulate the light from the photograph and I created geometry to simulate the hand. I used an Area light to simulate the light in the picture
The shadow of the character falls on the simulated hand.
The character rendered in maya.
The finished result! The character and shadow combined with the image. :)
Nice sculpt! I was gonna ask who 3d printed it... so nice render! hahaha
This has been a very fun project to work on. I am pleased with the end result of this concept car. Hope you like it! The car was created in ZBrush using Panel Loops and rendered in Maya - Mental Ray. :)
