Default Satyr god of war III

    Hi everybody,

here is my latest wip model... this will be a fully character in game.
the concept was done by the great concept artist Andy Parkat http://andyparkart.deviantart.com/ga...et=48#/d35m7lm

for now i have blocked the forms and proportions, the head and horn are still too rough...

    hope you enjoy

    here where i am...

karmajf, thanks dude, this is a simple vray material with a light color and a subtle reflection like rgb 15,15,15, and the glossines about 0,5 , so yout can get this soft specularity. i am using 2 lights (key and back) and a soft HDRI for enviroment. the post was done in ps, effects like difusion, chromatic aberration, grain, subtle vignete and edge softnes...

    Nattawat_OBBI thanks dude...

nice work! perhaps the legs lack a bit of detail compared to the torso.

    I like the render!
question; how do you make this slight red-ish edges that give the image a photographic quality? what kind of composting method is it?

    great model, keep it up

Thanks a lot guys i really apreciate your comments.

Hussam this is called chromatic aberration You can get it using a plugin like red giant photo looks builder for ps or just blurring a bit one channel of the img.

Carlxx did you saw the first Post ? Where i wrote god of war III character and was posted the link for the concept?
This character was originally modeled by katton callaway , a great artist , my goal gere is try to get a decent result doing the same character and off course using his model as reference. This was your first Post here? Nice start...
    Thanks for comment

I did not mention the concept design, but from the digital model that the artist executed Katon Callaway. You practically copied his version.

If your intention is based on work of this artist, then I think you should mention it.
