    Default PArata's ZSketchbook

I'm new to Zbrush Central. I keep finding my way back here to so many good tutorials. And decided to finally get a profile and sketchbook thread started. A little about myself:

I'm a passionate artist, nerd, and gamer. I am a proud Pacific Northwesterner. I currently work in QA at a game studio in the Seattle, WA area but I am actively learning 3D Modeling with the ambition of transitioning to working as a character or environment artist. I'm a Zbrush enthusiast and hopefully future professional. Cheers.

Currently i'm working on a piece based off of the Norn Stag Armor from Guild Wars 2.

I spent a little more time on the breastplate today.

Not a ton of progress over lunch today. And had the idea reinforced that I probably should have left this model in T-Pose it's going to take more time to do everything from this point forward

Needed a little break from my Norn. Just a quick sculpt for fun.

Still working through the detail pass on this Norn sculpt. I have some upper leg armor to build out some meshes for as well. Happy Friday guys! Feedback welcome, i've been looking at this sculpt for awhile since would love to hear from anyone.

Pose and proportions of the body are nice but I think the model has got wrong anatomy profiles and lines along legs and arms. Adjust them and bring more life to your work.
    Hope this help,
    enjoy zbrusig!

Thanks for the feedback Matteo. I think I may play around with tweaking the pose a little more. The arms definitely need to come up a little more. They are a bit tight to the body, and are going to be in the way in the current pose when the leg armor is all finished. Cheers

I got the other leg armor started on my Norn sculpt. I need to tweak the pose some more now. The arms in particular need to move up a little. I need to figure out if there's a way I can batch move groups of subtools without having to merge them

I decided to participate in this month's Polycount Newb Character Challenge. I picked the frog guy.

Hello PAratas I have seen you're doing a concept based on applying design to a friend, I began modeling I long ago and still not finished,
