Thanks, fellas.
This was a while ago...I've got a gig rolling now that hopefully is a whole new vector for me artistically and technically that I will show when I can. I'm trying to get away from the super clean and stylized rut that I've been in and just go all in with detail, energy, and expression...commercial work or otherwise...I need to up my game dramatically. The beauty of this new medium is that it constantly forces you to take inventory of your skills as they need to keep pace with all of the changes and advantages the technology offers. I feel like I haven't even begun and look forward to every session of sculpting I can get in. There is so much awesome talent here and I learn every day from watching my collegues and friends raise the bar with each new post.
This is something I sculpted last spring for Dark Horse Comics, Flemeth from Dragon Age 2. I worked from reference provided by Bioware and a file of the head they also provided. Used the latter as template for the structure of head but resculpted it from scratch. The prototype made its debut at SDCC this past summer.

I changed the images in the last post...grabbed the wrong ones...these are the actual finished sculpt.
