    @martiangirl: Thanks!

    Starting working on this little fellow a few minutes ago. I'm aiming for something between cartoony and realistic. I am currently still in doubt whether I would make him look angry with a scepter in his hand or to make him look amazed with a torch in his hand while looking at cavepaintings. Plz let me know which idea is best. I wil first just focus on character so you have time to decide.

    Hey Hey Larsy-Ha Ha he is a kool little feller. The great thing about Zbrush is that its so flexible so u could try either expressions and see which one you like best. I am just a noobie cheering you on. Your last peice was amazing and I look forward to seeing your work develop.

    I haven't posted anything yet as I am still trying to fathom a few things out

    Keep going with everything-Practice practice practice is the key to success.

    I look forward to seeing your caveman feller develop.

    How did you make the green/red looking chromatic distortion effect in the image?

    @TheCelt: I used a translucent material in Keyshot2. The red is the transmission colour (blood) you see it in thin places where light shines through the model. I don't know where the green comes from. It seems to appear at the tips of the spikes. I didn't pick that colour in the material settings.
    But I thought it was cool so I left it like that.
    With these settings there seems to appear even brighter green. See that I didn't pick any green colour?:
