Really cool! Love the little body hairs. Keep up the good work!

So, I've been meaning to get back to some more creatures that do not stem from a humanoid figure, and with some of the suggestions from here,
will be revamping the Aquatic Creature I made a few years ago. So thanks for the inspiration! It's always been in my head to go back and open up the mouth of
this aquatic creature and show different phases of its mouth's anatomical positions, so definitely some productive goals aside from a simple touch up.
I'll post as I progress on the mouth, but here is the new details to the cowl. More to come!...and please comment or critique as you see fit, since this is
a work in progress.
Doggy 7 - Thanks! The chest hair spiraling growth direction was fun, but the hair on his head seem silly to me now. I could have added a bunch of small peach fuzz hair on
his face and neck too... all things to improve on.

Nice stuff in this thread I particularly like the aquatic creature. hope you don't change it to much. it is an elegant design.
Glad to be able to jump back on this sculpt for a little while! I am now focusing on the body. My goal here is to enhance the design through subtle form/texture contributions so as to maintain
the general silhouette of the creature intact. I still need to get to all the pores and minute flesh textures, but here is what I have going so far. I did, however, take this opportunity to add some
organic funnel / siphons to the underside of the creature, knowing they will be hidden from most views, but still allow for some further exploration into aquatic anatomy.
Thanks for all the comments!
luis2008 - Thank you for noticing the subtle details. It's always more important to show restraint when it comes to these things, so I appreciate the acknowledgment.
EricShawn - Thank you sir!
rodion vlasov - I'm glad you dig the creatures, thanks!
daxton - Thank you!
KC-Production - Thanks Kenny! I'm definitely looking forward to the final image here. Since it's a revision and a chance to make it better, I think I'm going to push this image to a much stronger
finish.... hopefully if time allows...
monstermaker - Mr Baker, thanks for taking a glance at my work here and it's an added motivation to hear you like my aquatic creature. I agree with your comment to not change this creature
too much, I don't want to reinvent the wheel with this one.

I've had this sculpt around for some time, but I had forgotten about it since it was on an external drive packed away... So I'm bringing it back to life and plan on finishing it off eventually.
His name is Carver and is based on an IP i developed back in school, so I don't want to say to much just yet, but he hunts creatures...
I created the harness and bag base in Maya and detailed it in ZBrush. The harness is still being developed for it's purposes, so it's a combination of repelling harnesses and a big Big BIG game
hunting harness. (I'm taking some creative freedom on the latter) The figure, pants and boots(which still need much love) are all done in ZBrush.
Looking forward to giving him facial hair and skin texture, as I generally work on creatures this will be fun.
What do you think?

very nice thread ...great work in here!
...this last character is really interesting and i would love to see him further developed...
I had to revisit the face, since it had been so long since I started this character. I'm enjoying Fibermesh. Next I am gonna continue detailing the body, adding hair and scars. (Scars on the
face and body) Afterward, I get back to finishing his harness and add some more articles of clothing/tools. (Gloves, rope, repelling equipment, nets?, big game weapons, etc..)
(Just a quick render without BPR Filters or material attention.)
Thanks O/MI, Here is Carver flushed out a bit more. The facial hair is working for me, but there is something lost when I cover the details on his face with hair, though.

Your designs are so awesome and inspirational! your attention to detail is perfect!
I jumped back on this aquatic creature and flushed out the more details, specifically the tentacle details. I am working on the head and interior of the mouth at
the moment and will post those images soon.
SammehSAMURAI - Thank you for your enthusiasm! It reminds me to constantly push my skills further.
