    Default Thirsty fairy

This is an image I did about 3 years ago, but while I liked the idea, I didn't liked the result I got then, so I removed it from my galleries. I saw the old image a few weeks ago, and decided it would be a good idea to redo it, so I tweaked a few things on the model, and did new textures, hair and lights, and here's the result.

Done in Zbrush, 3ds Max, Mental Ray and Hair-farm.
    Hope you like it!

Amazing work Woodsy, I'm loving everything about it ! You did a great job with HairFarm. Wings are covered with HF as well? Hair is just spot on!!! You should definitely send this to Cem.
Thank you for sharing Woodsy !!!

Fairies and such are not usually my cup of tea, but this is a really excellent piece: sculpt, texture and render. Good stuff!

i wonder why they would have hairfarm for 3dmax and not maya, since theyre both owned by autodesk?... cuz this is killer hair. id love to be able to use that plug.

Thanks a lot for all your comments, I'm happy you liked it!

bomoh -> I used hair-farm to create the hair, very small body hairs that are almost impossible to see, and also those hair tips of the wings.

I was asked to show some zbrush screens of the model in another forum, so I guess I can also post them here. They aren't really impressive, most of it is old stuff, I think I did that with Zbrush 3.1.

the texture looks really nice, especially on the wings and skin. I thought that dew or water droplet should have some transparency no? atm, it looks like a metallic liquid.
