Default Jason Martin, 2010 production work

K, I know I posted these in my sketchbook thread earlier but the guys at Zbrush asked me to do do a little breakdown of my workflow. So, Im starting a new 2011 thread and Im gonna include a breakdown on how I created Cyborg. Since I already posted these earlier, I'll toss in some production stills this go around! Ill be adding more info later today or tomorrow, cheers!

Some pieces of Vader were initially created by Manny LLamas and then expanded upon by myself, I explain more in detail on page 3 of this thread.

Really awesome work! How long would you normally be given to create a character? and what renderer are you using?

Thanks for sharing your work, its very inspiring

    All the best

    Hey Jason,
AWESOME work dude. Love Blur Character artists. Nice clean high poly modeling man! I had some few questions about the pipeline.
I was wondering what maps you guys use to pull out the details in the characters. Such as dents, big scratches, cloth wrinkles, etc.
Seems like from topology you lay out the basic shapes with the high poly. I never did understand what kind of maps you guys used. Is it displacement or normal maps? Also, how big are your maps for the characters?
I'm just a big fan of Blur's pipeline and I wish to follow it for my personal work hoping to work for Blur one day =)
