I found a solution:
For me was the same problem, nothing happens when export subtool from ZBrush to Max with GoZ (to Maya works).
And I noticed this is my fault because I used "maxstart.max"...

this is my new female character: Yekaterina. Everything rendered in ZBrush, hair and peach fuzz is FiberMesh. Post effect in Photoshop.

Which sotfware use you to render?
The base mesh was created in Maya and Marvelous Designer before being rendered with ZBrush. The hair was done in FiberMesh. As you can see, I paid close attention to small details that helped me...
