No sorry that was my mistake, some of the subtools in that video had UVs and others didn't. Point is that ZBrush sent the colour/painting across with all the subtools.
Sorry but I can't take that at face value, only Pixo know what the future of ZBrush is.
Posting wild guesses is merely hijacking this thread, which is about 4R7.
If you watched the video I posted earlier in this thread showing me testing the Keyshot beta GoZ plugin for ZBrush, you will have seen me sending a non UVd model to Keyshot complete with polypainted...
Is it a paid gig?
One consolation is they can be set in Keyshot. Lens focal length, DOF etc.
Everything gets sent across with the model. Materials, polypainting, textures. Even if the model has no UV's everything gets sent across and applied to it as it was applied in ZBrush.
Nice work. I'm not sure if advertising like this is allowed on the forum. Four posts since you registered eight months ago and all four posts advertising services might seem a bit cheeky to some.
Amazing work, thanks for sharing with us.
Nice renders. You can speed things up in Keyshot by reducing the samples rate in the render settings.
Glad it helped. This might also help, a video I made a few months back showing the ZBrush to Keyshot Goz beta in use:
The bridge will be much better as it will allow...
The bridge will send all visible subtools to Keyshot and they will be placed in the same positions relative to one another like they were n ZBrush.
Excellent work on Piggles.
Excellent work. I love the flow of the beard and hair.
The free upgrades are discretionary. Pixo as far as I know don't promise permanent free upgrades, so we just keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best each time an upgrade is announced.
Hi Art. They are answering questions about it in this thread, hope it helps:
By the way, yes there is a Pro version of Keyshot that...
Marcus is correct. $249 gets you the version of Keyshot that otherwise would cost $1000.
That's right. The beta GoZ also transferred Fibermesh over to Keyshot and it works very well.
In Keyshot, 2.1 is 1920 pixels wide, or almost HD width equivalent. 4.1 would be around 4K width equivalent. This is the Keyshot that costs $995 in standalone version, which we can have for $249 with...
Personally I'm taking one step at a time and not thinking about ZB5 until it happens. It's all 4r7 now and that will keep us learning for a while.

Yes it can do much better. For instance the glass on the coffee pot could have shown thickness and refraction. Even a beginner at Keyshot can produce decent renders quickly....
Thanks Aurick and the team for all you do for us.
It isn't a big deal to catch up once someone records it for us. 7 hours time difference where I live but I was able to watch the demo this morning thanks to jubala who uploaded...
Yes that's for the Keyshot bridge and a special version of Keyshot, if I heard the man correctly.
He also mentioned that ZBrush materials will send with the geometry to...
