Finally installed the update! I can't wait to try out the new features!
Thank you, Pixologic, for making these updates free!
Really cool update. Now, just hoping for PTEX support (http://ptex.us). Mudbox and 3D-Coat already got it. Would be nice to skip the whole UV-ing part all together and just sculpt, paint, retop, export, animate!

Thank you very much for this extremely cool release, just watching through the release videos with my jaw dropped down. What lovely inspirational features. I see so much cool stuff in there :o and you really took it three levels ahead of everything else :tu: I havent had that much fun with a software release since ages (for various reasons). All the best!
Just awesome! exactly for i need for production..
I have now words on how grateful and excited I am about The latest Z-Brush release. It feels like you guys are in my head and adding all the tools I want on every version! My art is finally matching my CG and even further than what I imagined. I will say no more, I will show my appreciation through my work. I am your ambassador! From now on "country first" family then Z-Brush top three priorities in life. Thank You!

Yet again unbelieveable!
More than a Dream Thank you very much ;). :D
Sorry about my beginner question, just start with Zbrush,
about update 4R4 to 4R4 P2, once i update by the autoupdate menu wich activation code i must use? The old one or i must ask for a new one?
Thank a lot!
So many things to discover.
I really missed the movie possibilities according to the undo history. It was something I put into the wishlist..and missed it
Inbetween all this sensational big steps which most of them turned out much better than I even could have dreamed of, this tiny little thing will be very useful.
Thanks a lot, people at pixologic.
The location of the ZBrush virtual memory/cache files can now be changed, providing performance improvements on systems where the system drive is not the computer's fastest drive or is running low on disk space. someone know how ? please
If your system drive isn’t the fastest on your computer, you can set ZBrush to use a different drive instead. This is done by editing the ZBrushScratchDiskPath.txt file located in the C:\Users\Public\Documents\ZBrushData folder on Windows or Users/Public/ZBrushData folder on Mac OS X.
The Pixologic docs say the same thing, "This is done by editing the ZBrushScratchDiskPath.txt file located in the C:\Users\Public\Documents\ZBrushData folder on Windows or Users/Public/ZBrushData folder on Mac OS X," but is there some information on how we're supposed to edit the ZBrushScratchDiskPath.txt file. An example of what we're supposed to enter and where, would very helpful and very appreciated;) To paraphrase my favorite starship Chief Medical Officer, "I'm an artist -- not a programmer!"
Thanks --
And Scotty quit on you.;)
If I understod well your question: save a copy of your "ZBrushScratchDiskpath.txt" just in case then open it with notepad (window).
As exp you pc has 2 hard drives: "C" and "E". Move your Zbrush scratch disk to "E".Make in "E" a new folder, named "Zbrush Cache" or as you like . Editing your "ZBrushScratchDiskpath.txt" file like this:
"F:\Zbrush Cache\" and save.
