Crazy Horse Sketchbook
Oh my! It's been ages since I posted here on ZBC. So long that I felt it best to start a new clean thread;)
The following began as a quick sketch to get the image out of my head, its been circling there for quite some time, but I liked how it turned out so I put som textures on and did a render.

MetinSeven and Grot - Thanks Guys, glad you like it.
Here are som more sculpts. They took between 1 and 2 hours each. Focusing on getting shape, form and character down as fast as possible and as close to reference as I could. It was fun practise. Dynamesh, rendered in Keyshot and post in Photoshop.
First one is based on the awesome art by CreatureBox, I love their stuff.
A quick dino sculpt!
Based on one of Frouds Creatures.
and a shark based on one of those coloring images my nephew liked.
Peace;)

He has so much soul and life in his face! Great work and very nice render.

I love the unique shape of his head, and his expression is very nice too. Are the small white hairs on his head and face fibermesh?
-
LynneMitchell - Thank you:)
Gedn - Cheers!
yuuva - Thanks:) About the hairs, not all of it is fibers, I ended upp painting in hair that got messed up when I exported a dof render with alpha mask. The small hairs in the face is all paint but I'm starting to understand fibers more so next time maybe:P

Medusa
Been a while!
Medusa
This sculpture "Medusa" was made for the Mold3D course: Master Organic Modeling With Gio Nakpil. The sculpture is based on the brilliant concept by Carlos Huante.
I had a great time taking this class and learned a lot. Coming from a 2D background and being self taught in 3D modeling I feel this class really boosted my art and skill set to a new level. I can highly recommend this class to both experienced and inexperienced 3D modelers. Anyhow, comments and feedback are welcome, enjoy!
