I am having so much fun with polypaint and starting to get comfortable with sculpting. Thanks to everyone that posts on zbrush central I get inspired everyday by all the extraordinary work by all the talented artists. As always any comments or suggestions are welcome I am still learning so any helpful hints are greatly appreciated.
I still have alot of work to do on this but, I have learned alot with this model. I am still have to learn more with polypaint and materials.
Hiya, it's great that you're learning as you go along with this - I am too, tried out some Fibers for the first time!
He's looking nice so far, I love his facial expression.
Thanks so much for the comment Chimz, I really like your work by the way. I have yet to play with fibers.
I havent had much time to dive in just some touch ups to the horns and the pore detail and tried to put some asymmetrical details in which is alot of fun. I think I might try to make a body for homeboy see where it takes me.
as always I appreciate all comments and critiques it does help alot.
Started to work on body and repainting everything.
Great sculpt man. However, there is something bothering me about the big horns on his forehead. You can tell you just placed them at the right position. You might want to sculpt some kind of a connection of skin to bone around that area, it will make it look a lot more convincing. Look at this hellboy image for example:
I didnt even see that thanks a bunch. I wanted to redo some of the head anyways so thats perfect gives me an excuse to resculpt that area maybe pull the horns a bit apart as well. Thanks for the reference as well.
lots of work to do with the body still and quite a bit on the head. Thanks again so much for the comment on the horns I think the area is starting to flow together alot better. Lots more work on that area and still to paint. This has been so much fun and I have learned so much so far.
Glad I could help out a tiny little bit haha. Looks better already though, good job once again!
getting him ready for trick or treat. I dont know if I want to have it tied or on a stick and his hand holding it. I want it off his face but still seen. I am going to try to make it female looking and put a pink tutu on his upper torso along with a tiara.
I so enjoy painting in zbrush
still have alot of work todo the cheerleaderr out fit and finish the face. I was thinking on putting the mask on a stick like old school masks. I like the black horns (had them like a rhinos earlier) which match the nails you have to coordinate.
I think I am going to post it to the final forum wish I could put more time into it but, hey this was a blast. Ok so its a demon wearing a human suit.
